What will the weather be like in Cyprus?

Expect warm, sunny Mediterranean weather. Daytime temperatures are typically hot, with cooler evenings.

What should I pack?

Lightweight clothing, dressy evening wear, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, and swimwear for resort time.

Wedding Weekend Details

Can I bring a plus-one or children?

Please refer to your invitation for guest details. If you have questions, feel free to reach out.

Will there be events every day?

Yes! We have a full wedding weekend planned, with optional and hosted events listed on the Events page.

What time should I arrive to events?

We kindly ask guests to arrive on time, especially when utilizing shuttle transportation.

Ceremony & Reception

Will the ceremony be religious or symbolic?

Can we take photos or videos during the ceremony?

We ask that guests remain present and refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Our photographers will capture everything beautifully.

Tips for guests

  • Renting a car makes exploring easy.

  • Taxis are available but limited in some areas — book in advance.

  • Bring comfortable shoes for ruins + nature walks.

  • Sunsets are stunning — plan one night around it!

  • The island is safe and very relaxed.

  • Driver is on the right side (opposite of US, same as UK) experienced drivers recommended

  • Apple maps does not work in Cyprus so downlaoding google maps beforehand is recommended

If you are staying at any of the listed resorts under “Travel & Accommodation”, guest concierge should be able to book you any of the excursions, activities, rides, etc. mentioned

Travel & Arrival

Do I need a visa to travel to Cyprus?

For most guests traveling from the U.S., U.K., EU, and many other countries, a visa is not required for stays under 90 days. Please check your passport’s expiration date (at least 6 months validity is recommended).

Which airport should I fly into?

Guests should plan to fly into Paphos International Airport (PFO) or Larnaca International Airport (LCA). Paphos is closest to Anassa. Find more details here.

How do I get to Anassa from the airport?

Private transfers, rental cars, and taxis are available. We’ll share recommended transportation options closer to the wedding.

When should I arrive and depart?

We recommend arriving at least one day before the first scheduled event and departing the day after the wedding to fully enjoy the celebration.

Accommodations

Where should I stay?

We recommend staying at Anassa or in Paphos. Both options will have shuttle service to wedding events.

Is there a hotel room block?

Yes—details and booking information will be provided on the accommodations page.

Can I stay elsewhere on the island?

You’re welcome to, though shuttle service will only be provided from Anassa and a central Paphos location.

Transportation

Will transportation be provided?

Yes! Shuttles will be available for each event with pick-up and drop-off at Anassa and a central location in Paphos.

Where is the Paphos pick-up location?

The exact location will be announced closer to the wedding date.

Do I need to rent a car?

A car is optional. Shuttles will be provided for wedding events, but a rental car may be helpful for exploring Cyprus during your stay.

Attire & Events

What is the dress code for the wedding?

The “attire” page will have all details on dress codes for all events.

What should I wear for other events?

Each event has its own dress code, which can be found on the attire page. Think elegant, Mediterranean, and comfortable for warm weather.

Will events be outdoors?

Yes—some events will be held outdoors.

If I would like to schedule a hair or makeup appointment for any of the events who do I contact?

For hair and makeup inquiries please contact the Anassa salon and they will be able to get you pricing and availability.

Should they be fully committed, please reach out to the wedding number (844-493-2498) to get further information on scheduling a makeup or hair appointment.

Gifts

Are gifts expected?

Your presence is the greatest gift. If you wish to give something, we’ve included registry details HERE.

Local Tips

What is the local currency?

Cyprus uses the Euro (€).

What language is spoken?

Greek is the primary language, but English is widely spoken.

Will my phone work in Cyprus?

Most phones work internationally—please check with your carrier about roaming plans.
